Malik Sandal Polytechnic College in collaboration with 3 sister-institutions - Secab English Medium Highschool Tajboudi vicinity, Secab Urdu Secondary Highschool Naubag and Secab Modern Kannada Medium Highschool Nauraspur celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with enlightening spirit. Parades and songs created patriotic ambience. The Principal Mr. Fayaz Bhaisarkar spoke motivationally on the impact and need of technical education in present day India. Prizes were presented to the students of all the institutions. The event was inspiring

An Essay Competition was conducted on 21st January 2022 on the topic 'Health is Wealth'. Students participated with great enthusiasm and expressed their views eloquently.

MSPT Sports Day, on 12th and 13th January 2022, was marked by various events. Athletics comprised shotput, discus throw, 100 m sprint and 200m dash. In group games, E&C Team won the Boys' Volleyball whereas CSE Team won the Girls' Throw Ball. MSPT commits to the adage 'Sports are integral to education'.

SECAB Founder's Day was celebrated on 10th January 2022. Dr. B. G. Mulimani, Former Vice-Chancellor of Gulbarga University, was confirred upon the 4th SECAB NATIONAL AWARD 2022. MSPT contributed with active participation.

First Year Parents Meet was conducted on 18th December 2021. About 70% parents turned up and interacted about the progress of their children.

Malik Sandal Polytechnic and Secab 'Induction Program' was conducted on 29th November 2021. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sowmya T. G., Senior Grade (English) Lecturer, Government Polytechnic Vijayapur addressed the students on the benefits of C20 syllabus and motivated with ethics of 'Universal Human Values' in pursuit of engineering. The persuasive tone was impactful. The Principal V S Dolli's words boosted the morale of the students. Vice Principal Mr Fayaz Bhaisarkar and a senior lecturer Mrs Netravati Purohit shared the stage.

SECAB SHUTTLE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 3.0 gets inaugurated by Jalanagar PSI, Sri. Rayagond S Janar and Smt. Prema Kuchbal, PSI APMC Station, Vijayapur. This is the 3rd year, Malik Sandal Polytechnic is hosting the event consecutively. Students from across Vijayapura and ladies in open category are participating, overwhelmingly. The Tournament will be played on 27th, 28th & 29th March 2021.

MSPT 'Technical Awareness Team' visited Morarji Desai High school, Afzalpur Takke on 20 February 2021. A novel attempt of teaching abstract concepts through fun-learning practical activities, whetting interest in technical courses.
