The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized a one-day industrial visit to AFTEK PVT. LTD, Solapur, on October 21, 2024. This visit was arranged for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year E&C students, accompanied by faculty members, Mr. Aurobindo Koti, the Head of the Department (H.O.D) of ECE, and Mrs. Fathima Sholapur.
AFTEK Limited, situated in the MIDC area of Chincholi, Solapur, is a leading entity in the technology services sector. The company offers a wide range of technological solutions, including IT services, embedded systems, and hardware solutions, making it an excellent choice for industry visits, especially for students pursuing studies in technology and engineering.

*MSPT* celebrated *Teachers Day*, shaped into a platform for the students to express their ideas through *Speech Competition and Pick and Speach Contest*, which enhanced the significance of the celebration.
Overwhelming participation with strong enthusiasm was witnessed. Contestants demonstrated a competitive spirit throughout the event and exercised their public speaking skills with a creative edge.
*Ms. Geetanjali, Assistant Professor of SECAB IET* graced the occasion as the *Chief Guest* and motivated the students to balance well the academics and practical wisdom to explore innovative paths and come up with genuine solutions in addressing the relevant needs to contribute to society through their field.
The prizes - certificates and medals - were presented instantly. The Principal, Vice-Principal, and the staff congratulated on the performance and appreciated the eloquence and rhetoric abilities of students.

Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized Pool Campus Drive on 11 July 2024.
*350+ candidates registered offline; 150+ candidates registered online* in this Mega Drive. The Pool consisted of *17 companies* -Manapuram Home Finance, EKart Logistics, MISMA Foods, Kumar KIA, Renault Kumda Cars, Narayan Hyundai, Svatantra Microfin Pvt. Ltd.,
Foxconn, Indo MIM, Wistron, Mahindra, Toyota, Schneider, Incap, OTIS, Patil TVS and Bijjaragi Motors.
*31 candidates got spot offer letters (male:21; female:10); 52 got shortlisted (male:28; female:24).*
They recruited the candidates for various positions like General Manager, Sales Executive, CRE, Team Leader, Service Advisor, Computer Operator, Production Supervisor, Cashier, Floor Incharge, Receptionist, Insurance Advisor, Insurance Executive, Branch Manager, Senior Field Officer, Technician, Denter Help, Parts Executive, Service Telecaller, Service Advisor etc.
The organizing and executing team (the whole staff of MSPT) worked painstakingly for the mega success of this event.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized a workshop on Prompt Engineering" on 27 March 2024.
The workshop was conducted by a team of 3 expert resource persons from AKMAI TECHNOLOGIES BANGALORE Mr.Javed Akkalkot, Mr. Mateen Motiwale, and Ms. Khadeeja.
Mr. Javed Akkakot gave a pep talk on 'Why Al' and Engine behind Al the Prompt. Al imitates human intelligence using Natural Language Processing. Prompting is giving instructions and questions to Al Tools to get the desired solutions.
Mr. Mateen Motiwale demonstrated Al prompting in response to the student's queries, subject-related simpler definitions, practical examples and explanations, etc. Ms. Khadeeja guided hands-on tutorials for creating images, videos, and tables for teachers as well as teachers. Al is versatile: it can design grammar games, interact with users, It can give results within a minute.
Al technologies enhance the speed, efficiency, and effectiveness of problem-solving, design, development, and implementation processes within engineering tasks that require quick and accurate solutions, Prompt Engineering plays a crucial role in At leverage. Its key principles are Agility and Flexibility: Rapid Prototyping Iterative Development; Continuous Improvement, and Cross-functional Collaboration.

Malik Sandal polytechnic , Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, has organized a one-day visit to Tata Motors service station
Vijayapura on 5th September 2023, for students of fifth semester studying E-Mobility course.
The students studying this course along with faculty, Mr. Aurobindo Koti participated in this visit.
The TATA motors coordinators guided the students to the electric vehicle service center and
provided the information about it. Overall, it was a great learning experience for us and visit was extremelyinformative, which helped us to understand the overall working of an electric vehicle.
After reaching the Tata Motors Vijayapura showroom, students were introduced to TATA Motors by
Chidanand Patil (manager). He informed us about history of Tata Motors.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department organized an industrial visit for the 1 st & 2 nd year Electrical engineering students to 110/11 KV Ukkali,Vijayapur substation on 7 th March
2024.
Our main purpose of this visit is to be familiar with industrial environment and to get
practical knowledge of electrical transmission & distribution. Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy, TheExecutive Engineer of Ukkali Substation received us with a warm welcome.
Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy sir had explained the working of substation in depth. Then we observethe control room. In the control room, every parameters of the substation is continuouslymonitored and we observed the real time data of substation on the panel. Mr. ChandrasekharReddy sir showed us to battery room & explained its importance in substation. It was a greattechnical discussion. Students also got familiar with Transformer maintenance, circuit breaker,Transformer isolator, bus bar, Protective relays, Lightening arresters, Load break switches,Current and voltage transformer etc.
The session was highly interactive and provided students with a strong foundation in the key concepts of electronics that are integral to modern technology. Professor Ziaullah's expertise and engaging teaching style made the lecture insightful and motivating for all attendees.

MSPT held Parent-Teacher Meet for Odd Semester of the Academic Year 2024-25, on Saturday 24 August 2024. with a view to collaborating efforts for quality enhancement in education. The Meet was an initiative based on the performance analysis of the First Internal Assessment and shortage of attendance in the Odd Semester. Inputs of the stakeholders proved crucial in redesigning pro-learning experiences and educational environment towards aimed outcomes. It witnessed 150 + parent turnout with active involvement . *As a result, an immediate action plan of conducting 'Remedial Classes' (starting from Monday 26 Aug 2024) was initiated in the Meet to improve the performance in the Second Internal Assessment in the very next month.* The Meet was successful in instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability in studies and fostering commitment towards their goals.
The Meet was an initiative based on the performance analysis of the First Internal Assessment and weekly shortage of attendance in the Even Semester. Inputs of the stakeholders proved crucial in redesigning pro-learning experiences and educational environment towards aimed outcomes. There was a significant parent turnout. The Meet witnessed confidence building through the convincing process. The joint efforts prevailed in tuning the students towards responsible changes.

An Essay Competition was conducted on 21st January 2022 on the topic 'Health is Wealth'. Students participated with great enthusiasm and expressed their views eloquently.
MSPT Sports Day, on 12th and 13th January 2022, was marked by various events. Athletics comprised shotput, discus throw, 100 m sprint and 200m dash. In group games, E&C Team won the Boys' Volleyball whereas CSE Team won the Girls' Throw Ball. MSPT commits to the adage 'Sports are integral to education'.
SECAB Founder's Day was celebrated on 10th January 2022. Dr. B. G. Mulimani, Former Vice-Chancellor of Gulbarga University, was confirred upon the 4th SECAB NATIONAL AWARD 2022. MSPT contributed with active participation.
First Year Parents Meet was conducted on 18th December 2021. About 70% parents turned up and interacted about the progress of their children.

This is the 3rd year, Malik Sandal Polytechnic is hosting the event consecutively. Students from across Vijayapura and ladies in open category are participating, overwhelmingly.
