MSPT regards sports and health as complementary attributes to education. Physical Coordinator is dedicated to conduct interdepartmental sporting competitions regularly.
MSPT organises Badminton Tournaments, providing a platform for aspirants across Vijaypur to hone the talent.

an active ambiance of healthy sports prevails in the campus.
Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized Annual sports to the students for Boys and Girls, for the Academic year 2018-2019.The event included many sports activities such as Athletics, Kho-Kho, Valley ball, Throw ball, Shuttle badminton, box cricket etc... The students participated overwhelmingly with sportsmen spirit, enthusiasm, and joy.
The Annual Sports Meet 2019-20 was organized by MSPT Sports Committee. Various sporting events like Cricket, Badminton, Running, Throw ball, Volley ball etc were conducted for boys and girls. The students as well as staff enthusiastically involved in all aforesaid activities.

Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized Inter Association Badminton Tournament in the academic year 2018-19 for Boys and Girls. More than 100+ students participated to showcase their talent with Great Spirit. In the inaugural ceremony and valedictory function, Executive Director of MSPT and Principal along with Chief Guest shared the stage inspired the participants.
Malik Sandal Polytechnic organized Inter School Badminton Tournament in the academic year 2019-20 for girls and boys. More than 170+ students participated to showcase their talent with sportive spirit from different schools located across the historical city of Vijayapur. In the inaugural and valedictory ceremony, Executive Director of MSPT and Principal along with the guests shared the stage motivated the budding participants.
SECAB SHUTTLE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 3.0 gets inaugurated by Jalanagar PSI, Sri. Rayagond S Janar and Smt. Prema Kuchbal, PSI APMC Station, Vijayapur. This is the 3rd year, Malik Sandal Polytechnic is hosting the event consecutively. Students from across Vijayapura and ladies in open category are participating, overwhelmingly. The Tournament will be played on 27th, 28th & 29th March 2021.
