MSPT regards sports and health as complementary attributes to education. Physical Coordinator is dedicated to conduct interdepartmental sporting competitions regularly. MSPT organises Badminton Tournaments, providing a platform for aspirants across Vijaypur to hone the talent. The college is well equipped with courts, playground, and various sports materials. Every department plays with a winning spirit. With the sportive staff, an active ambiance of healthy sports prevails in the campus.

SECAB SHUTTLE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 3.0 gets inaugurated by Jalanagar PSI, Sri. Rayagond S Janar and Smt. Prema Kuchbal, PSI APMC Station, Vijayapur. This is the 3rd year, Malik Sandal Polytechnic is hosting the event consecutively. Students from across Vijayapura and ladies in open category are participating, overwhelmingly. The Tournament will be played on 27th, 28th & 29th March 2021.

Prema Kuchbal, PSI APMC Station, Vijayapur. 12 & 13 Jan 2024 mark the celebratory beginning of the Polytecnic Diploma Even Semester at MSPT. Pervasive zeal, vigour and vitality filled the atmosphere. Various sporting events for boys and girls were held, witnessing an overwhelming participation, spectatorship and online followership.
